Kris Aquino admitted that she tried to understand what jealousy Mariel Rodriguez has felt towards the love scenes in Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw where she and Robin Padilla (Mariel’s husband) play the roles of a couple.

Mariel Rodriguez admitted that she indeed made some demands before she accepted the job of being a co-host in the just-premiered TV5 noontime show, Wowowillie.
According to Mariel, she wanted to make her married life a priority over her work, reason why she requested to be allowed to make a leave during the special occasions in her personal life like the birthday of husband Robin Padilla and their wedding anniversary to name a few.

Daniel Padilla plays young Robin Padilla in “Kuratong Baleleng”
Daniel Padilla plays the young Octavio “Ongkoy” Parojinog in the upcoming Kuratong Baleleng movie. The older Ongkoy will be played by his uncle Robin Padilla.
A one-minute and twenty-nine-second trailer of Kuratong Baleleng has surfaced on the internet and while there will be no scene that would put Daniel and Robin together, it’s nice to see Daniel playing a younger Robin.

Today's Brightest Stars Renewed Contract with ABS-CBN
Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee renewed their contracts with ABS-CBN last October 6th. Considered as among the brightest Kapamilya stars, the contract signing was attended by the big bosses of ABS-CBN led by President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel Head Cory Vidanes, Freddie M. Garcia, and Star Magic Head Mariole Alberto.
The four celebrities currently star in their own soaps in the Kapamilya network. Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee are the lead stars of Maria la del Barrio where they play Maria and Luis respectively. Kim Chiu, on the other hand, stars in My Binondo Girl and Gerald Anderson's advocacy series Budoy has just premiered last Monday.
Recently, it was Shaina Magdayao, Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang who renewed their contracts. Shaina will star opposite Jake Cuenca in the upcoming series titled Doha while we just saw Angelica Panganiban guest star in 100 Days to Heaven. Pokwang co-hosts Happy Yipee Yehey and her contract renewal with the network ends talks that she also wants to transfer to TV5 to co-host with Willie Revillame just like Mariel Rodriguez did.

Mariel Rodriguez Transfers to TV5
Rumors about Mariel Rodriguez's transfer to TV5 has been going on for the past weeks. Many found it hard to believe especially that Pinoy Big Brother's fourth season is going to start this October. She had been hosting the show since it started with Toni Gonzaga and televiewers have quite grown accustomed to seeing Mariel on the show.
In three separate Ktext messages, though, Mariel Rodriguez confirmed that she is indeed saying goodbye to ABS-CBN but also added that she still considers the Kapamilya network her home.
Cristy Fermin, one of the hosts of TV5's Juicy, said that Mariel will have a grand debut on Willie Revillame's Wil Time Big Time on October 15th. Mariel and Willie have worked together for so many years on ABS-CBN's defunct Wowowee before Willie's controversial transfer to the Kapatid network.
Now that Mariel will be joining Wil Time Big Time, I wonder if it will do better in the ratings game.
Rumors are going around that Pokwang and Valerie Concepcion (both co-hosts on Wowowee) are also expressing their desire to join Wil Time Big Time. Some are saying, though, that it would be impossible because that would be like copying Wowowee per se. But I guess nothing is impossible. That is, if the price is right.

Happy Yipee Yehey!
Happy Yipee Yehey! is ABS-CBN's newest show to pilot this Saturday, February 12th.
After Pilipinas Win na Win failed to capture the hearts of the televiewers, ABS-CBN decided to just move Showtime's timeslot and temporarily made it the network's noontime show.
What we didn't know is that they were cooking something up and they took the time to really make it a sure hit to the televiewers.
Happy Yipee Yehey! boasts of big stars as its main hosts. Ace program host Toni Gonzaga is joined by her Pinoy Big Brother co-host Mariel Rodriguez plus Randy Santiago and John Estrada who are both experts in hosting noontime shows. Randy was the main host of GMA-7's 80s noontime show Lunch Date which later became SST. He also hosted ABS-CBN's noontime show MTB together with John and Willie Revillame during the show's run.
Pinoy Big Brother Double Up winner Melai Cantiveros is also in the show as well as the beauty queen-turned-actress Bianca Manalo. It's good that they put Melai on this show rather than Pokwang because the public (IMO) doesn't find her funny anymore. Melai puts in a new flavor. Let's just hope she'd learn how to talk a little slower when hosting.
It's also good to know that Bianca has a new show since her afternoon comedy drama, Juanita Banana, will soon end.
Bentong and the YouTube star Kuya Jobert are also present to add comedy to the show.
